Recreation District #1 is under the direction
of a 7 member administrative board and is appointed by the
parish council. This board meets monthly and oversees total
operation of the District.
The Board of Commissioners created Advisory Boards to work
with individual sports. They advise staff on the operation
of each sport. The Advisory Boards meet on an as needed
